What’s included in the private charter?

Exclusive use of the boat, captain and crew, hotel transfers, Thai meal, drinks, guide, and park entry fees.

Where can we go during the cruise?

Popular spots include James Bond Island, Koh Panyi, hidden beaches, and scenic lagoons in Phang Nga Bay. Routes are customizable.

Can we request special food or drinks?

Yes, vegetarian, vegan, and dietary requests are welcome. Custom menus, wine, or cakes can be arranged.

How long can the charter be?

Choose between a half-day (4–5 hrs), full-day (7–8 hrs), or a sunset cruise (3–4 hrs).

How many people can join?

The boat comfortably hosts up to 25 guests for a private cruise.

Is it suitable for special occasions?

Definitely! We can help with birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, or even small weddings. Decorations and extras available.

What should we bring?

Sunscreen, hat, swimwear, sunglasses, camera, and comfortable footwear.

What happens in bad weather?

If the weather is unsafe, we’ll offer to reschedule or provide a full refund.

Is the cruise suitable for kids or seniors?

Yes, it’s family-friendly and calm. Some light mobility may be needed for boarding.

Is the June Bahtra cruise only available as a private charter?

Yes, currently the June Bahtra operates exclusively as a private charter. We do not offer join-in/shared tours. This ensures every experience is personalized, peaceful, and just for you and your group.

Where can we go?

Is there a hotel shuttle included in the package?

Hotel shuttle is an additional service that can be added on.

Are there English speaking guides available on the boat?

We have an English speaking guide available at your request with a reasonable fee.

Are there any alcoholic drinks available?

Alcoholic beverages are available upon request; however, we kindly discourage excessive drinking during the journey.

Is there a charge for bringing own alcoholic beverages on board?

Corkage and Service fee is applied for bringing your own beverages on board.

Are life jackets or safety equipment provided?

Life Jackets and safety equipment are mandatory and provided for all guests on board.

How many days in advance can I make a reservation?

You’re welcome to make a reservation as early as you wish. For a simple bareboat charter with minimal additional services, we kindly request at least 3 days’ advance notice. For more customized programs or arrangements, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to allow adequate time for preparation. All bookings are subject to the boat’s availability, so we encourage early inquiries to secure your preferred date.

Are there any services for seniors or wheelchair users?

June Bahtra is a traditional wooden boat with steps and narrow walkways, which may not be suitable for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility. While we welcome seniors, we recommend that guests are comfortable with walking and boarding the boat using stairs. Please feel free to contact us if you have specific needs, and we’ll do our best to assist.

Do I have to pay the full amount when booking

Full pre-payment is required for all bookings.

Deposit and Payment Policy:

For bookings made 45 days or more before the service date: A 25% deposit is required within 7

days of booking confirmation to secure the reservation.

30 days prior to the service date: An additional 25% deposit is required.

14 days prior to the service date: The remaining balance must be paid in full.

What is the cancellation policy?

For any cancellations of confirmed charter or group bookings:
Less than 21 days prior to the service date: A 50% penalty of the contract rate will apply.
Less than 14 days prior to the service date: A 75% penalty of the contract rate will apply.
Less than 7 days prior to the service date: A 100% penalty of the contract rate will apply.

Where does the ship depart from and how many minutes in advance should I arrive?

June Bahtra is docked at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, located at 141/2 Moo 2, Mai Khao, Thalang, Phuket 83110, Thailand. The marina is situated on the northeast coast of Phuket Island.

Please arrive at the pier at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure a smooth boarding process.

Is swimming or snorkeling part of the itinerary?

Swimming can be included in the June Bahtra Cruise itinerary, depending on the chosen route. Some programs include stops at islands where beach swimming is possible, while others offer swimming directly from the boat. However, the water conditions in Phang Nga Bay are not ideal for snorkeling due to limited visibility. Snorkeling is better suited to other areas around Phuket with clearer waters.

Is there time to go on an island or do some shore excursions?

Yes, shore excursions are available depending on the cruise route you choose. Some programs include visits to islands such as Panyi Island or Baan Sam Chong Nuae Fisherman Village, where you can go ashore and explore local life. Let us know your interests, and we’ll help plan a route that includes a suitable stop.

Is there an emergency contact or hotline during the cruise?

Yes, in case of emergency, our cruise manager is on standby at all times and will coordinate directly with the captain to assist and resolve the situation promptly. Your safety is our top priority throughout the cruise.

Is travel insurance included in the package?

All passengers on board June Bahtra are covered by accident insurance for the duration of the trip.

What happens in bad weather?

Can I fly a drone during the trip?

Drone flying may be allowed in certain areas with prior approval, depending on local regulations and weather conditions. Please contact us in advance to discuss.

Is there a professional photographer on the cruise?

The June Bahtra Cruise does not include a professional photographer as part of its standard offerings. However, guests are encouraged to bring their own cameras or smartphones to capture the scenic beauty of Phang Nga Bay. If you would like to have a professional photographer onboard, please contact us in advance to discuss the possibility of arranging this service for your cruise. Photos taken during the cruise must be for personal use only and not for any commercial purpose.
